The Village Room began life as a purpose built reading room opening to the public in 1890. In 1924 it was gifted to the Village and since then has been a popular meeting place for coffee mornings. parish council and public meetings, fundraising activities, exercise classes and private parties. The room was in need of major refurbishment.
