The Wednesday Group meets for 2 hours during the winter months at 2pm & 7.30pm during the spring & summer on the first Wednesday of the month. Why not just come along to one of our meetings or if you would like to know more please call Janet Hurst on 01423 771367. Generally we have some speakers, (sometimes "home grown" ones), play dominoes, scrabble, beetle drive, quizzes etc. We also have fundraising events during the year, supporting a different charity. A friendly welcoming bunch of ladies, having fun whilst helping others

TUESDAYS 9.30 - 12.30

The Village Room Library is open every Tuesday from 9.30 - 12.30 where you can choose a book, have a tea/coffee and biscuits (for a small donation). Why not meet up with friends? Books are free to borrow.

The Wednesday Group have very kindly offered to pay for an "above door" heater. This will help prevent the draft of cold air coming in to the room when anyone enters and keep everyone warm!

New sound proofing panels have been installed in the Village Room to improve the noise element.

With grateful thanks to The Wednesday Group the Village Rooms now has some superb bespoke shutters at the windows

Details can be found in the Village room

celebrate the re-opening of Hampsthwaite Village Room after a substantial refurbishment

Councillor Michael Harrison was accompanied by our local MP The Right Hon. Andrew Jones. Nearly 200 members of Hampsthwaite Village came to the opening and to hear Mozi Nami tell of the work that had gone in to the building. Tea, coffee & cakes were enjoyed by everyone.
