In celebration of the 80th anniversary of VE Day, 30 keen history enthusiasts attended a fascinating talk at the Village Room last Sunday (4th May) by local local author Julian Horrocks talking about his book Alanbrooke: The Reluctant Warrior. Refreshments with wartime Anzac biscuits were served and the author sold out of the books he brought! This was the first author's talk in the Village Room - we hope there will be many more!!

on 26th April 2025 we celebrated one year on from the renovations. Around 100 people attended and £500 was raised for 2 charities.
